About Simcoe County Rovers FC

Simcoe County Rovers FC is a football club formed in 2021, that competes in the Ontario Premier League. Simcoe County Rovers operate OPL 1, OPL 3, and OPL U20 teams. The Club's mission is to elevate our game standards across Simcoe County, engage players, supporters, and youth across the Region, and win trophies for our community.

Our Crest

We are a Club that belongs to the people of Simcoe County. Our strength is gain through deeply rooted relationships in each area of the County.

The blue waves represent the rivers and surrounding water that gave life to Simcoe County and the passageways that connect us all.

Taken from the Barrie Coat of Arms, Our motto acknowledges the outstanding citizens that collectively make up the fabric.
Colours
The colours, inspired by the Barrie Soccer Club, represent the history of football excellence in Barrie.
"Joining League 1 Ontario is an important evolution for the football landscape in Barrie and the Huronia District. The Rovers are excited to contribute to the community by creating a complete development pathway for youth members of the Huronia District and surrounding area. There are over 10,000 youth players and hundreds of coaches registered in the Region alone; we are keen on providing these aspiring players and coaches with meaningful development opportunities."
